I don't have many details of this weapon but what I know that this weapon function was just like Battle Rifle, this weapon is effective to heavy armored units like Brutes or Elites armors, but the difference between battle rifle and the Battle Rifle is not just the shape and apparent, but the firing, apparently this weapon shot one bullet at a time with no cool down, but Battle Rifle shot three bullet at a time and required a few Time to shoot again
Just like Battle rifle, the weapon can also be zoomed, and contains 32 ammo in one magazine just like battle rifle, the weapon was effective against heavy armored units, but not good at agile and light units, apparently this weapon was a good choice against long ranged enemies

Halo weapons Part 14-UNSC Sub-machine gun
The UNSC sub-machine gun, This weapon was pretty effective to make a way through enemies but not the perfect choice in killing, the weapon contains 100 bullets in one magazine and the shot itself was not a long range. unfortunately the weapon was not good at dealing damage and not effective in long range so it's not effective against Heavy armored units(Brutes,Elites)
This weapon good at staggering and but you just wasting your ammo if you try to kill every enemy you met in the game with this weapon only, the weapon can be "dual-handed" make it more effective at killing light armored unit(Grunts,Flood Combatants) but shooting it from a far range make it useless

Halo weapons Part 13-Gravity Hammer
The gravity hammer in Halo was a heavy melee weapon that deal allot damage, even it's effective against everything, but the weapon attack was slow and waste allot of energy if you using the main attacks (no energy used if you attacking with melee button)
The weapon itself usually used by Brutes elders (Heavy) and attack aggressively

Halo Weapons Part 12-Energy Swords
It's okay if I skip to the melee right? okay, The energy Sword, my favorite weapon in Halo, this weapon is usable to the player between Halo 2 and Halo 3, the good thing of the weapon is that it's strong to every units, every kind, everything.
This weapon was strong to every kind of unit, every slash you use to attack enemies only drained 5-7 energy (The energy will not drain if you don't hit living thing, so don't worry if you miss)

Halo Weapons Part 11-Needler
The Needler! one of the most favorite covenant weapon, it will not deal so much damage when it stab, but after it sticks it will blow and give a little explosion if there only one or two rounds, but if you shot the whole magazine in one units (each magazine contains 20 rounds) it will explode as strong as a grenade
This weapon is pretty good against all units because of it's tracking needle system but it was slow, and the weapon has a high firing rate, apparently this weapon deals not to many damage in the first place, because of it's slow tracking movement it's not good against agile enemies, but that doesn't make it effective against Tank units(Hunters,Flood Juggernauts)

Halo Weapons Part 10-Plasma Pistol
The plasma pistol, covenant weapons that used by light armored covenant units, apparently this weapon can take down enemy shield easier than any other weapon, if you hold the weapon trigger long enough, then it will start to charge a maximum powered pulse that crush enemy shield easily (Specially Elites and Jackal Shields) but not good at dealing damage to organic

Finally we come to Covenant Weapons, and lets begin with their regular weapons
The plasma rifle, it contains 100 charges that fire up 300 times in full power, this weapon cannot be reloaded and firing in a high speed, this weapon will be more effective in dual, apparently you'll find this weapon sometime overheating if firing non stop

Halo Weapons Part 8-Spartan Laser
Maybe there's no other weapon firepower match this one, but the bad thing is that the weapon can only be fired 5 times (In the last mission on Halo 3, you get a infinity Spartan Laser to defeat the Monitor) and no reload.
Everytime i found this weapon, I quickly trade it with AI (AI in campaign always have infinite ammo for every weapon) it would become a firing support on a mission (I usually charge to the enemy positions and I found it nice to have an AI allies with heavy firepower and support me up :D)

any way this weapon was very effective against light armored units especially in numbers, that means this weapon was the perfect choice against the flood units, but sadly, I never test it against covenant Tank units (Hunters)

The UNSC rocket launcher, this weapon lack the firepower but not good when it comes to foot mobile units, actually this weapon is good in destroying a group of infantry and super effective against Tank units (Hunters,Flood Juggernaut)
remember to keep a safe distance between targets and yourself, the explosion was wide enough to kill yourself
This weapon was the perfect choice to destroy enemy vehicle easily, but using it against infantry was just wasting it ammo, remember you can only carry up to eight rounds of rocket at a time, this weapon is also a good choice for suicidal attacks (in case you like to do something funny or others)
This weapon also a better choice to kill Tanks units (Hunters,Flood Juggernauts) without using allot of ammo,

Halo Weapons Part 5-UNSC Sniper Rifle
The UNSC sniper rifle, this weapon was the best when it comes to long range, apparently this weapon only weakness was it short capabilities of ammo, but it still the best weapon to deal high damage even a one hit kill in the longest range, eventually after Bungie see that this weapon was to effective, the weapon damage was decreased massively in Halo Reach.
The Sniper Rifle was very effective against medium to heavy units (Elites,Brutes,) but it's not a good choice against light and agile units (Jackal,Grunts,Flood Combat Forms) as I say, this weapon have a very short ammo carrying capabilities, when you miss, that means you just waste one precious round for another units.
The Sniper Rifle was modified for a better sniping experience, imagine a sniper rifle will fire nonstop until the ammo itself was depleted, the sniper rifle contain four armor piercing bullet that make more than effective to kill an heavy armored units (Brutes,Elites) but, although the weapon using a very strong armor piercing rounds, this weapon was far than effective to kill Tanks units (Hunters,Flood Juggernauts) however this weapon spawn rate is still limited even in multiplayer so that's what make this weapon was very special

We come to the Halo Handgun, the most effective weapon in Halo, this weapon spawn rate was more than other weapon, it kills Light to Heavy armored units but not the tanks units (Hunters,Flood Juggernaut).
It waste allot of ammo when it comes to tank units, but, nothing is perfect right? eventually this weapon ammo will decreased drastically as many as long this weapon used, because even it is effective, this weapon needs more ammo to kill an enemy unit, that's why the weapon spawn rate itself was massive

Halo Weapons Part 3-Tactical Shotgun
maybe some gamers realize that this weapon become the best weapon for the last 5 level of the first Halo (In first Halo, flood combat units can only be permanently killed if 2 parts of it"s body destroyed, but the shotgun only need one round to get it done) but after Bungie realize that the flood combat units was a weakness to Halo itself, then the flood units advantage was finally removed and the shotgun was no longer become a favorite weapon
The shotgun itself was effective against light or medium armored units (Grunts,Brutes,elites,Flood combat forms) and totally uneffective against numbered enemy units and tank units (Flood infection forms, Hunters, Flood juggernaut) eventually this weapon spawning rate has decreased since Halo 3 because it have to many weaknesses and waste allot of ammo,
